Junior Graphic Designer

Main tasks
- — Together with the senior graphic designer you‘ll be a part of a small yet driven team working on the overall graphic design of the Essentiel Antwerp company and brand.
- — You’ll be contributing to and executing a wide range of graphic design tasks for all departments within the company, from styling, marketing, e-commerce to social media.
- — You’ll be a part of the creation of and communication on four collections per year. This includes working on prints and artworks of the collections, following up on packaging and stationery, thinking up smart concepts and creating visual content for the website, marketing and social media;
- — You’ll be the guardian of the brand, watching over the graphic identity and tone of voice of the brand.
Who are you
- — You’re an all-round junior graphic designer;
- — You know the programmes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator en InDesign inside out;
- — Knowledge of video editing (Adobe After Effects) is a big plus;
- — You’re familiar with the principles of web design;
- — You speak fluently English or Dutch;
- — Fashion, graphic design and photography are major points of interest for you;
- — You always keep the finger on the pulse when it comes to graphic design and web design;
- — You’re creative and always eager to learn, good at thinking up catchy concepts, and aware of the commercial reality;
- — You are correct in your work with an eye for detail and you’re familiar with DTP jobs;
- — You enjoy working in a team, but you can also manage to bring a project to a good end independently;
- — Deadlines or stress don’t wipe you out, you have a problem-solving capacity;
- — You have the “I can do that” and hands-on attitude;
- — You dare to speak up and take the initiative;
- — You can stay loyal to and work within a strong brand identity that offers a lot of freedom but that can be very strict at the same time.
